Stagmere's coat of arms is a story in symbols.

  • The stag: the deer of the old parkland, shown springing on the shields and at rest on the crest
  • The star: a guiding star above the stag, now the estate's emblem
  • The bulrushes and water: the mere, the still lake that gives Stagmere its name
  • The helm and mantling: the traditional crown of a full heraldic achievement, topped by a stag's head on a twisted wreath
  • Two liveries: black and gold, and blue and silver

Look out for the star when the house opens. Read the Stagmere guide.
