Cycling around Northaw

The countryside between Northaw, Cuffley, Newgate Street and Essendon is a favourite with road and gravel riders: wooded hills, quiet lanes and steady climbs. Inside the Great Wood there are no dedicated bike trails, but the Yellow trail is suitable for considerate solo cyclists. Expect mud after rain.
