Judges, on the village green

For generations it was The Sun, a 17th-century village inn on the green. Restored and renamed, Judges is now a smart restaurant and cocktail bar in the same Grade II listed building, popular for long lunches, celebrations and Sunday dining.

It is a restaurant first: drinks are served with food. Booking is wise at weekends.
