The village green and its listed buildings

Northaw's houses gather around a triangular green near the church, high on a ridge with views over wooded valleys. Two listed inns, the Two Brewers and the former Sun, and the village war memorial make it one of the prettiest corners of south Hertfordshire. Pause here before heading for the woods.
